Property Sign-up Form

 

Ombudsman Services: Property is an Office of Fair Trading (OFT) approved, redress scheme for estate agents under the Consumers, Estate Agents and Redress Act 2007.  The Ombudsman Services: Property is open to both RICS regulated and non-RICS regulated firms, and any other property professional that may wish to join.   
If you’re a RICS regulated firm
If you are a RICS regulated firm, then all you need to do is register with the RICS that you have opted to use the Ombudsman Services: Property as your chosen redress scheme.  You do this by selecting Ombudsman Services: Property as your chosen form of redress, on the annual return form, when you return it to RICS. 
If you’re a non RICS regulated firm please complete the sign up form

 

Ombudsman Services: Property is approved by the Regulatory Board of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) as an ombudsman for chartered surveyors.  It is also approved by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) as an estate agents redress scheme under the Consumers, Estate Agents and Redress Act 2007.  Ombudsman Services: Property is open to any property professional that may wish to join.

If your firm is RICS regulated and you wish to use Ombudsman Services: Property as your redress scheme you must register your choice on the complaints handling procedure section of the annual return that you complete for the RICS.  If you have already completed your online annual return with RICS then go to  Firms Portal  and update your firm's details.
