Today (20 January 2017), Citizens Advice launches a new energy complaints tool for small businesses. Commenting on the announcement, Chief Ombudsman Lewis Shand Smith says:
"Last year we helped 4,296 small businesses to resolve complaints with their energy supplier. If your company has 10 employees or less, and you experience an issue with your energy provider that isn't resolved within eight weeks, you can bring your complaint to Ombudsman Services and we will investigate your case for free.
"If you are a bigger business but no larger than an SME we might still be able to help provided your supplier agrees."
